Musica ~ is a series that sprang to life photographing my nephew Liam Morrissey, professional cellist and composer. At the time Liam was a member of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, he’s now following the artists dream in Paris.

I love the connection between the time honoured craftsmanship of a beautiful instrument and the passion and engagement from the musician.

My folio will grow but to date I have photographed music teacher, commercial cook and sometimes stage director Michael on Double Base.

And Sydney Conservatorium of Music student Emily on Violin.

We made use of the many romantic and whimsical on site locations and had a fun and productive afternoon. It was really good to work with a team, including the resident feathered members.
